Our family has been rooted in Venice since 1859 — through the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, two world wars, the great flood of 1966, and the long transformation of a living city into one of the most visited places on earth. Through all of it, the palazzo on Campo Santo Stefano remained.
La nostra famiglia è radicata a Venezia dal 1859 — attraverso la caduta dell'Impero Austro-Ungarico, due guerre mondiali, l'acqua alta del 1966 e la lunga trasformazione di una città viva in uno dei luoghi più visitati della terra. The original terrazzo floors, the Murano chandeliers, the antique mirrors — these are not decorations sourced from an interior designer. They are the ordinary furniture of a house lived in for over a century and a half. When we decided to open the apartments to guests, we did not want to create a rental unit. We wanted to share a home.

La Torre di Rua in the Prosecco Hills came later — the family's countryside roots, a medieval tower on the wine estate where we have always spent our summers, restored patiently over years into a place that holds both the history of the Veneto hills and every modern comfort.
